Yes, tours can be customized to meet individual school needs, as long as total length of tour does not exceed 14 hours in duration in a single day - including all stops.
Is there any limit on the distance we can travel between colleges or universities?
The only limitation on the whether 2 or 3 colleges are scheduled in a day is the amount of driving time required. Due to state regulations, the total single day driving time cannot exceed 9 hours. This regulation may vary in some states.
Can we schedule a tour on a weekend?
Tours are designed to take place during the normal school day, when college campuses are the most active. Tours can be conducted on certain holidays, as long as the institution is still in session. Weekend tours can be scheduled, but may vary in overall experience due to the lack of campus activity.
How many people can be accomodated on each Explore Colleges Tour?
Motorcoaches can accomodate 47-55 people depending upon the size of the coach. The minimum tour count is 40 people (excluding complimentary counselors). You can of course book multiple coaches to the same or multiple locations on any one day.
How many counselors can escort the group at no charge?
Two counselors per tour are free of charge, above the minimum 40 passenger count.
How much does a tour cost?
One of the main goals of Explore Colleges is to keep the price affordable. Most tours start from $49 per person, although this can vary depending upon the destination, length of the tour and in some cases the date of the tour.
